Amethyst Typography
Amethyst typography was developed during my typography classes. It is a font for writing based on classic humanist calligraphy. We started on paper by drawing the letters and tracing the sketches in ink.
Then I vectorized it in Fontlab. My typography has well-marked serifs, regular thickness, the contrast between the stems, and a humanist axis.
I chose this name because of the amethyst rock, which I deeply appreciate. And also because of its properties of wisdom, balance, protection, and vitality.
